For low income households, Rising cost of Living Support subsidy Payment, Kashiwa city

Subsidy payment is offered to the low-income households which have been affected immensely by the rising cost of living.

Offered to the household paying only the resident tax levied on the per capita rate

Eligibility

Any household with registered address in Kashiwa city as of 1^st December 2023, and paying the resident tax levied on the per capita rate.

※The household consisted of dependents only of tax payer is not eligible.

	Households which was eligible for the Rising cost of living subsidy for Kashiwa citizen (30,000-yen subsidy)	Others
Amount of payment	70,000 yen per household	Per one household, amount which is the total of amount of subsidy already entitled to deducted from 100,000 yen. (Including the amount of subsidy paid from the other municipals)
Procedure	Please fill in the confirmation form and mail it in the dedicated envelop for returning the form by 31^stMay (Friday). (Postmark on the day is valid) Confirmation form will be sent out on 28^th February (Wednesday).	By 31^st May (Friday), please fill in the application form available at the welfare Policy Division (1^st Floor, City Hall Annex) and send in by mail with other required document to the address below or bring in in person or on the homepage of Kashiwa city: 〒277－8505 Kashiwa Shiyakusho Fukushi-Seisaku-ka(Welfare Policy Division, Kashiwa City Hall) (Postmark on the day is valid) ※Application form can be obtained by requesting the call center to send it out or by downloading from the homepage of Kashiwa city.
When to be paid	Approximately one month and half later returning the confirmation form

Additional payment for a child

For the, the household with registered address in Kashiwa city as of 1st December 2023 and with the resident tax levied on the per capita rate exemption or paying the resident tax levied on the per capita rate only for fiscal year of 2023 (The household consisted of dependents only of tax payer is not included) and with a child born after 2^nd April 2005, additional subsidy payment of 50,000 yen per a child is offered.

▶Tax exempted household ＝70,000 yen will be paid into the bank account accordingly from middle of March. (As a principal, no need of application procedure. Payment guideline notice will be sent out accordingly from 28^th February (Wednesday).

Kashiwa Station City Hall Service center, Ad-hoc Opening on Sundays

During March and April, due to the increasing cases of moving-in and out, desks at the Citizens’ division is congested. To even the congestion, desks at Citizens’ division at Kashiwa Station City Hall Service center will open on Sundays.

Some banks will discontinue the payment service with payment slip at the counter; 31^st March (Sunday)

Mitsubishi UFJ bank, Tsukuba bank, Mizuho bank, and Mizuho trust bank will discontinue the payment service with payment slip with no charge at the counter of municipal tax, waterworks and sewerage service bill and other public funds on 31^st March (Sunday).

Tokyo star bank other than the head office finishes payment service with payment slips Waterworks and Sewerage service bill at the counter on 31st March (Sunday).

Even though above banks are listed as the designated payment bank on the payment slip, please be aware of that there may be a case that the bank will not offer the payment service or will charge you the handling fee of the bank rate.

Others

Bank account transfer payment is continued so no need for the change of the bank account.

Tax payment consultation desk is open on Weekends

To satisfy the need of the person who cannot come to the city hall during the office hours, Tax payment consultation desk will be open on weekends.

Change of Distribution of COVID-19 Vaccination ticket

Free COVID-19 Vaccination finishes on 31^st March (Sunday). In accordance with this change, service of sending the ticket to those who had the previous vaccination more than three months ago is finishing.

Anybody who wishes to have the COVID-19 vaccination to be sent out after 1^st March 2024 needs to apply.

Those who had initial vaccination after 2^nd December 2023 and wishes the ticket to be sent, it may take approximately one week to issue after application. Please apply at your earliest convenience.

Additional vaccination after 20^th September 2023 is one entitlement only per person. So that the ticket will not be issued to those who had already had had the vaccination.

Starting to taking the application for service ticket of National Health Insurance and Medical Treatment Insurance for Elderly Senior

From 1^st March (Friday), application for service ticket of Health services available from April. Service ticket is scheduled to be sent out by mail in the end of March.
